The University of Wisconsin System seeks proposals aimed at increasing student achievement in the arts, civics/government, economics, English, foreign languages, geography, history, mathematics, language arts, and science, by improving the teaching and principal quality at the K-12 level in Wisconsin's public and private schools.
Priorities for the 2010 competition are improvement in student achievement in reading/language arts, mathematics, and science, and increasing the quality of teaching in all core subjects, and improvement of collaboration between higher education arts and teacher education faculties. .
