INSTITUTE ON RACE AND ETHNICITY (IRE) SUPPORT GRANTS  [Updated 19 April 2010]

IRE Support Grant funding supports four project areas:

• Category A - Research: To support scholarly research on race, ethnicity, diversity, inclusivity, and/or equity
• Category B - Curriculum Development: To support the development and teaching of new courses pertaining to race, ethnicity, diversity, inclusivity, and/or equity
• Category C - Campus Activities: To support campus activities, guest lectures, fine art performances, curricular infusion and instructional innovations, and/or other events
• Faculty Diversity Research Awards: To provide release time and research support of individuals who are tenure-track faculty members

APPLICATION NOTE: Applicants must first submit proposals to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for internal review and Provost signature prior to submission to the sponsor.
