| OFFICE OF PROFESSIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT (OPID) UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING AND LEARNING GRANTS (UTLG) [Updated 22 February 2010] |
The University of Wisconsin System seeks proposals to support projects which focus on essential student learning outcomes with recognition of the intentional relationship between liberal education, inclusive excellence, and best teaching practices. Collaboration among faculty and/or staff is required.
The 2010-2011 OPID UTLG will support projects which address the following areas:
Focus on student learning outcomes that recognize the intentional relationship between liberal arts education, inclusive excellence, and teaching as community property;
Focus on assessing quality teaching practices that integrate student learning outcomes and the relationship between liberal arts education and inclusive excellence, and the sharing of quality teaching practices; and/or
Contribute to the body of knowledge about quality teaching practices.

APPLICATION NOTE: Applicants applying to the OPID Undergraduate Teaching and Learning Grant Program are encouraged to coordinate proposal development with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater OPID representative Greg Valde (X5433, valdeg@uww.edu). The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will obtain the Provost’s signature and submit final proposal packages.
